About
Tara grew up in Oswego, NY, where she lived in the countryside. She moved to NYC in 2003 to attend the School of Visual Arts, where she majored in Computer Art. After graduating in 2007 she quickly had work Freelancing in NYC as an After Effects Artist. In 2011 she moved to Florida for six months to get training as a Stereoscopic Nuke Compositor. Returning to NYC, she worked with Ang Lee on Life of Pi, which has been one of the highlights of her career.
In 2016 Tara travelled down undah, to Cairns, Australia, where she got her PADI Open Water Scuba Certification. This opened up a whole new world for her. Being an amateur photographer since she was little, shooting under water combined some of her biggest passions in life. If Tara could Travel, Scuba Dive & Shoot for a living; it would be a dream!
Since then, she has gone on to get her Advanced Open Water Scuba Certification in Saint Martin and Nitrox Certification in Quintana Roo, Mexico. Someday she hopes to be a Master Scuba Diver and teach others the wonders below the surface.
