Tara Marie Jacobson is a seasoned Visual Effects Artist with nearly two decades of industry experience. A graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York City, Tara has left her creative imprint on a wide array of projects, from feature films and television series to music videos, video games, and immersive 20K experiences. Her standout contributions include work on Ang Lee’s “Life of Pi,” “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” and Illuminarium’s “Space” Experience, where her talent for bringing intricate visual effects to life has been widely recognized. Currently based in California, Tara continues to push the boundaries of visual storytelling, making her an influential figure in the industry.

Beyond her professional achievements, Tara is an avid scuba diver and underwater photographer. Since obtaining her PADI Open Water Scuba Certification in Cairns, Australia, in 2016, she has furthered her passion with an Advanced Open Water Certification in Saint Martin and a Nitrox Certification in Quintana Roo, Mexico. Combining her love for photography and the ocean, Tara hopes to someday retire by the beach, capturing the wonders beneath the waves for others to experience.
